I have now finished the Jacklex ACW advancing infantry. I am very pleased with the results, very much in keeping with the retro look of the whole project.I must say they look better in real life and I will definitely be adding more. I fancy adding expanding the size of this unit and producing a Reb unit in the same pose. Then the guns and limbers look good too. Actually I like them all and they do Colonials!
However this months (and probably next few months too!) pocket money has been spent on a wedding present for my brother, so the order will have to wait and it isn't as if I have not got enough other figures to be getting on with.

They look almost indistinguishable from the Airfix you showed so I'm assuming they are a small 20mm and not in scale with Newline??
I think I asked before and someone said they are pretty small - shame really as I fancied trying some...
By the way - if you want more figures Sean at Newline has a sale on until the end of May... :o)
I will do another comparison shot vs a Newline base asap-I think they should match OK.
