Incredibly the Airfix game had to be postponed because my 9 (next month) year old sons social calendar was too full this school holiday! It was rescheduled to next weekend but because of my loft ladder breaking I can no longer gain access to my games table and so will have to wait until I have a new set of steps installed.
It has also meant that I cannot start on the Salute buildings either. However I did make one very foolish entry to the loft yesterday (a dare devil act not to be repeated) and brought down a few units worth of Holsteiners to get started on.
I will add to the Airfix collection as I go along as well, these "guitar heroes" are the 3rd battalion of rebs completed this month. Flag from the Rofur 1/72nd range. Photography using back up camera (still need to get that new battery!) in the back garden (because I could not bring down my lighting and camera stand!).

Something of the Lynyrd Skynyrd about those 'Guitar Hero' Rebs for sure :-)
I have a mental image now of you dangling from the loft hatch gripping boxes of figures between your legs!
Great unit, looking forward to the game.
Cheers,
Lee.
Lee-your mental image is not far off! It was a carrier bag around the wrist while I swung from loft hatch to bannister to step ladder!

Matt - I take my hat off to you for your feats of daring-do all in the line of wargaming duty. Nice to see the guitar heros but I also love that officer - I used to use them as pirates sailing the living room floor on lego ships, ah those were the days...
real nice looking bunch of rebs.
